Spink Pavilion is going through a total renovation that will be finished in April of 2010. The renovations will include new modern restrooms, and reception area.  New floor-to-ceiling clear span glass windows will replace the old mullion style windows and doors. New HVAC systems will insure comfortable room temperatures all year long. A permanent awning will be installed over the terrace for inclement weather. New lighting will be added in the interior and exterior of the building. A new sophisticated sound system will be installed. These and many other changes will totally transform this space into one of the most sought after event spaces in St Louis.

Spink Pavilion, originally known as the Flora Gate, was built by Henry Shaw to serve as the main entrance to the Garden. This beautifully restored pavilion is situated on the grand plaza overlooking the three large reflecting lily pools, The Milles Sculpture Garden and the world renowned Climatron. Display beds along all sides of the lily pools brighten the area with flowers, including tulips, pansies, and unusual summer annuals. The Spink Pavilion is a perfect setting for all types of special events…all year long.
